| Summary | 0000806: [common] Let me know whether if BSP part memorize color setting. | ||||
| Description | hi kerwin. as your guide , I tried to do this. While you see BTV logo animation, TVS service already been started. Then I think TVS service will parse the saved values and apply to system via API. To clarify this point, you can do a simple test. (You need a userdebug FW) 1. Set "Brightness" to 100 from UI. 2. Modify Brightness value in xml by vi editor (adb remount; adb shell; vi btv_home/config/tvservice-setting-properties.xml......) 3. reboot the box If kernel driver keeps values, you will see graphic output with brightness 100. --> I modify a value as 70 for brightness in xml before reboot. this value only affect in OAP. In boot animation, it is affected as before value. Thanks. | ||||

Hi Jason, We don't save the brightness value. Brightness value is controlled by the TVS service when the TVS service is started. You can ask TVS why the TVS service will use UI value in boot animation. However the user can only control the brightness value through UI and will not modify the brightness value in xml. So you don't think about this case. |

hi Dixon You can ask TVS why the TVS service will use UI value in boot animation. --> Please give some clue to me for asking to TVS. Don't you know about a mechanism which set UI Value in boot animation in BSP part? or only TVStorm is dealt with it? Thanks |

hi Dixon. please update it. according to tvstorm's explnation, is related to a time after which show skb log by xml.file. so before showing skb log, it is related to BSP. If it is a wrong, please give a clue to me for asking to TVstorm. |

Hi Jason, The brightness value can only be set to the kernel through TVS service. You change the xml file brightness won't change immediately right? Because you need to wait for TVS service to re-read the xml file and set the new brightness value to kernel. So you will see the old brightness value when you reboot. |
